About SOMa for Haiti

SOMa for Haiti has a vision: bringing the South Orange/Maplewood, New Jersey communities together in support of the people of Haiti in the wake of their devastating earthquake. This group was founded with the goal of inspiring a greater impact than our one donation alone would make. 

We come from varying backgrounds and professions with the shared interest of promoting awareness of the Haitian people’s continued struggle and sharing information about the ways we can develop and maintain a dedication to the cause.
